HOMEWORK 4E, 4F

Hello girls,

I hope you are enjoying your vacations. Here's what I promised to send.

Dear Ray: The manufacturers make sets in any color that they think they can sell. Ray tells them that regular deliveries on your furs take four hours. We have two furs to deliver today. We hope that the manufacturer can repair that red set for us in four hours. We have read all the details of the case but we dare do nothing with force. Yours,

NOTE: There is a correction marked in the paragrahp, I hope you notice it.

Dear Ray: We can do nothing to repair this door. Can you close it? Do you have to force it? The railroad fares are up, but deliveries are regular. Are fares up on your railroad? It will take several days to have this pair delivered. You can take the furs with you on Monday. Do you dare to repair this unsafe set and sell it to the people? Do you call that fair play? Yours,

NOTE: There is a period (.) marked between DOOR and CAN in the first two sentences.

Ray: in May, we delivered to you details of the sales for the year. Several things came up to slow our sale of sets this month. Our regular manufacturer makes his sets in red. Some manufacturers can make the same sets in four colors and sell them to us for less. Our manufacturer believes that 4 dollars for the regular repair of his sets is way below a fair sum. Yours,

NOTE: There is one more correction marked in the image (to us).

Ted: We enclose a table that gives both the railroad and air fares for this year. The raise in railroad fares is to pay for repairs. They come to a fair total for the year. We think that with this raise in fares, the railroad ought to make deliveries of our sets with no delay. Yours,

Well, I think this is all for now. May God bless you and take good care of you!!!! See you in a week.
