If you want to keep your 20%, please do the following activity.

1. Look for a reading that you find interesting (minimum four paragraphs).
2. Copy it to a Word file or type it on the computer.
3. On a separate piece of paper, transcribe all the vowels sounds in
each paragraph. (Of course, the ones we have studied,
that is, up to unit 12).
4. Do it as clear as possible.
5. Bring it to class and be ready to get a copy for a classmate.
6. Use a dictionary with a standard IPA. You can get help from
www.wordreference.com
7. Here’s a brief example:

Zara, the popular clothing chain, is known for stylish designs, many resembling those of the bigname Italian fashion houses, sold at moderate prices. Yet if it finds that customers are coming in asking for, say, a rounded neck on a vest rather than the V-neck on display, a new version with the rounded neck can be in the store within about 10 days. If Jennifer Lopez appears in a beautiful new item, Zara can get a version of it into its stores in a matter of weeks, not months.
